What are the magnitudes of the loads?

You might want to check the connection of the ledger to the house. Only one lag bolt visible in the photo. I have gotten away from using the lag bolts (or lag screws) since they do not generally provide enough load transfer -- ie. 3/8 inch diameter is only good for approx. 135 lbs. I like to design using the Legerloks that provide almost twice the load capacity and you do not have to predrill the holes.
