In a residential construction:

What do you think about this steel beam-to-post connection?
Is it adequate?
What is the missing factor in this connection?

This obviously indicates that there is some potential problem to support the double steel beams.

Check the following:
-The reaction
-Stresses in the wood post
-Bearing issues
-Lateral constraint at the beam ends
-Load paths
